![]() Even as my first perfect grade kit back in 2010 this kit managed to horribly underwhelm and disappoint me. The PG Wing Zero came out in 2000 and feels every bit of 20 years old and then some. Feed them the enimga of combination, smash them together and you’ll end up with this pile sitting in front of you. PG Wing Zero: Picture your most disappointing christmas and birthday. ![]() This is the most recent Wing Zero I’ve built! The HGBF Honoo kit is basically the same, but with a little more style since it has all those cool clear parts and is generally pointy and red. Nothing fancy and no real bells and whistles here, just a rock solid 17$ high grade. The parts/color separation here is definitely notable when compared to what you got back in the day. It feels very animation accurate and is a simple and enjoyable build. I think this might actually be the best version of the Wing Zero that a lot of us grew up with right now. HGAC Wing Zero Custom/HGBF Wing Zero Honoo: A beautiful little 2014 update to the kit from the 90s. Still nice of Bandai to toss fans of that version a bone with this design, I’ll take it. The frame is rock solid and it comes with a stand so there really isn’t much here to not like, aside from the fact that it’s not the “true” TV version of Wing Zero. Definitely one of the better Wing Zero kits to come out but also doesn’t have the shelf presence of the Wing Zero Custom. I still really like this kit and definitely have some ideas for it as I’ve got two of them in the backlog. The hips and legs got a fair redesign that gives it mobility on par with modern MG kits, but it still feels a little lacking in the detail department. MG Wing Zero Proto: 2013 saw a new pseudo-TV version of wing zero come out. Not bad for it’s time period but compared to a real grade, I feel like these kits are just too old to keep up with what modern builders would want out of a kit. Ka doesn’t and that kit is so backheavy you have to rely on the wings touching the ground for the kit to stand up properly. ![]() While the Custom comes with a stand, the Ver. Neither of these kits are able to hold their iconic weapons very well at all either. The surface of the is fairly bland and the wings while better than other versions both still fall short for me. Ka), this kit doesn’t even have tabbed hands that debuted in 2005. EW: Released in 2004 (2011 for the EW, but it’s the same as the ver. Why not recap all of those kits and how I feel about them? I’m actually really excited about it! I think I’ve interacted with just about every major kit of the Wing Zero Bandai has released save for some special coating versions or a p-bandai release here and there. Only the armor parts and wing pars are How about the Sinanju Stein Narrative Version.Doubt there are many of us who saw this coming, but. cant wait which one will be next.Īnother remark given the question above: The weapon runner is NOT coated. this is just a "keep your eyes peeled" remark and not really a complaint since, as said, i can deal with it and will not display this model in another pose or in a different place.Īll in all a great looking model with a great color coating. check on your, i am not sure if that happened during the drying process or since it was maybe laying to long in direct heat, but then more runners and not only these 2 would have been bent i guess. However, after it was build i saw that i will not see it when displaying the set since these wing tips will be hidden behind the main wings. ![]() They are not fitting together at all and warm water did not do the trick to bend them back. Sadly the wing parts were to but luckily only at the tip of the wings. The runners for the small wings were bend. However, my model had one big flaw and i want you to be aware of it and check on yours as well and decide for yourself if it is worth a return or not. However, the finished build is more then worth the hassle. the A runner will be separated in 4 different pieces and one of them was connected to another runner (with zip ties) which confused me to the point that i thought i had missing parts. The build was easy enough but be aware that some of the runners are separated and can cause confusion where which part is. i like the model and wanted to give the Newtype Edition another run. So it was a no brainer to get this pone as well. I already had purchased the Barbatos Newtype Edition and it was a blast to build and looks just great. ![]()
